Charlemagne Palestine is an American minimalist composer who drinks cognac and surrounds himself with stuffed animals during live performances. From Etudes To Cataclysms, recorded in 2005, finds him exploring the mathematical possibilities of a unique two-story piano, which he plays with both his hands and feet.
